Sursari was born from a simple vision - to revive the traditional art of making pure desi ghee using the authentic Bilona method, while supporting local farmers and preserving our rich agricultural heritage.
Our journey began in the heartland of Madhya Pradesh, where we witnessed the gradual disappearance of traditional ghee-making practices. We realized that modern methods, while efficient, compromised the nutritional value and authentic taste that our ancestors cherished.
Today, we work directly with small-scale farmers who raise indigenous desi cows in natural, stress-free environments. These cows graze on organic pastures, producing milk that's rich in A2 protein and essential nutrients.
Every jar of Sursari ghee tells a story - of tradition preserved, of farmers empowered, and of purity uncompromised.
